Brief: complete installation of new hot & cold services, above ground drainage, extract ventilation and the connection of 130 pre-manufactured bathroom pods.

ADL Mechanical and Electrical Contractors were appointed as the mechanical contractor and delivered the full design and development for this project.
We installed 2 x Andrews hot water boiler, BMS control panel, associated controls, pumps and valves to the newly constructed plantroom constructed in the existing basement. New hot and hot return distribution pipework was installed throughout the building to feed all 130 pods, laundry room and cleaners store.
We recommissioned the existing booster set and utilised the existing water storage tank, from this point we installed all new boosted cold distribution pipework throughout.
The existing above ground drainage could not be utilised due to the extent of the refurbishment, the building was complete striped internally. We installed new above ground drainage throughout to connect to new pods and kitchens. The drainage from the building terminated in the basement car park, where we switched from PVC to HDPE fusion weld pipework throughout the carpark to existing and new below ground drainage openings.
